Three-Track Theatre Academy (Sept–May)

Join our season-long training program with three pathways to fit your student’s goals. All students train together in core classes and perform in our January Winter Showcase. Choose the JTF Competition Track (Sept–Jan), the Spring Musical Track (Sep 26–May), or participate in both tracks by registering for our dual track program.

Track A - JTF Competition Track (Sept 22-Jan)

Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30-7:00pm

Grass Roots Community Space - 54 Coles St. - Jersey City, NJ

​

Best for: Students seeking intensive musical theatre training and the excitement of traveling to the Junior Theater Festival (JTF) in January.

​

Your student’s commitment includes:

• Preparing and performing a 15-minute JTF adjudication cut

• Additional rehearsals as needed (some Sundays or added weekday sessions in late Dec/early Jan)

• Travel to JTF Atlanta in January

• Required participation in the Winter Showcase

Performance Opportunities:

• Featured performance in the Winter Showcase (January)

• 15‑minute JTF adjudication piece in Atlanta

Track B - Spring Musical Track (Sep 22-May)

Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm (Sept-Jan)

Mondays and Wednesdays 4-7pm; Fridays 4-5pm (February-May); TECH WEEK & Production Week TBA

Best for: Students who want to be part of a fully staged spring production.

Your student’s commitment includes:

• Full participation in our spring musical Beetlejuice Jr.

• Required attendance for tech week and all performances

• Participation in the Winter Showcase Gala in January

• Featured in Winter Showcase (January)

• Full Spring Musical production (May)

Dual Track (Sep 26-May, 2026)

​

Best for: Students who want the full Academy experience—competing at JTF in January and performing in the spring musical.

 

How it works:

Sept-Jan: Students attend classes (Mon/Wed 4:00-7:00 PM)

Jan-May: After JTF, students transition into the Spring Musical Track schedule (Mon/Wed 4:00–7:00 PM; Fridays 4:00–5:00 PM)

Students participate fully in both performance opportunities
