About Us
Founded in 2018, City Kidz Playhouse is a 501(c)(3) youth musical theater academy that services children of Hudson County, NJ. CKP was developed by NJ state certified theater and dance educators who saw the need for talented young students to continue their performing arts studies at the secondary level.
City Kidz Playhouse mission is to offer an unparalleled performing arts education that is high-quality yet affordable for all children in the socioeconomically diverse region of Hudson County. Through a comprehensive arts training program, it is our goal to prepare children to contribute to the future of our ever growing, complex world in which an artist’s mindset is necessary for the survival and growth of our society.
